What is the Hyundai Tucson N-Line?
The Hyundai Tucson N-Line is a sportier-looking trim of the fifth-generation Tucson that features exclusive exterior and interior design elements. What powertrain options are available for the Hyundai Tucson N-Line?
Depending on the market, the Tucson N-Line may be offered with a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine, a 1.6-liter hybrid powertrain, or a 1.6-liter plug-in hybrid powertrain.Notably, the newer and sportier-looking Tucson trim was presented after the model’s global reveal a few months ago. It is, however, not a true-blue N model and is instead similar to the Creta N-Line, which adds visual details and cosmetic upgrades.
Specifically, it gets a more “athletic” appearance via its dual exhaust tips, alternate front and rear bumpers, beefier-looking side skirts, N-Line badges, a chunkier rear diffuser, gloss black C-pillar inserts, and its set of 20-inch alloy wheels. Its interior also comes with suede materials, contrast stitching, and more N-Line badges on the steering wheel and other bits in the cockpit.

Hyundai Tucson N-Line: other specs, features
Apart from the visual fanfare inspired by the Korean brand’s performance arm, this newer variant of the Tucson retains the same powertrain as the non-N-Line versions.

There’s a 1.6-liter T-GDI gasoline mill with an eight-speed automatic gearbox; a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine for select regions; a 1.6-liter hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) engine with all-wheel drive; and a 1.6-liter plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) variant with a six-speed automatic transmission and front- or all-wheel drive.
The most powerful of these is the PHEV variant, which is said to produce a combined output of 292 horsepower (hp). Contrast this with the entry-level Tucson 1.6-liter T-GDI, which produces up to 148 hp.

Inside the Tucson N-Line is the “Waterfall Design” cockpit, which boasts a 12.9-inch central display and a 9.9-inch digital gauge cluster.
Like the standard variants, the N-Line gets the Pleos Connect platform, which is capable of natively running the Android operating system. Thanks to this, the Tucson N-Line is touted to provide better navigation and compatibility with Google applications.

Availability
The first market to get first dibs on the Hyundai Tucson N-Line is South Korea and Europe. The brand did say that other regions, such as North America, are slated to follow in early 2027. The brand didn’t say whether it will be heading to Southeast Asian markets like the Philippines, but in our case, we should wait for the standard next-gen Tucson first. With that said, we are keeping our fingers crossed that it will happen sooner rather than later.
