9th PIMS set on Oct. 2024

MANILA: This year’s Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) shall be held in the final quarter of 2024.

In a statement, the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Incorporated (CAMPI) shared that more than 15 brands are set to participate in the motoring spectacle to showcase their newest products and innovations.

First staged in 2006, the PIMS is a biennial motoring event staged by CAMPI that aims to bring together the top manufacturers and key stakeholders from both the government and private sectors.

Now in its ninth year, the much-awaited event will be on October 24-27 at the World Trade Center.

“We are thrilled for the return of the 9th Philippine International Motor Show this October,” CAMPI President Atty. Rommel Gutierrez said.

“The industry has shifted immensely in the last 2 years, so through this motorshow, we will dare to drive in bringing the best and most exciting PIMS yet,” he added.

Per CAMPI, the theme for this year’s event — dubbed “Dare. Drive. The Future Redefined.” —  signifies the group’s goal of enjoining premier brands in the automotive industry “as it dares to navigate in the mobility revolution.”

“As we face new challenges, CAMPI stands at the forefront of this shift in mobility by providing equitable solutions to the transportation needs of every Filipino,” Gutierrez explained.
