Araneta City extends AutoSweep RFID stickering program to Feb. 15

MANILA: Araneta City continues to make the acquisition of an AutoSweep Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) sticker easier and faster with the extension of its deadline to February 15.

Vehicle owners who are interested can go to the Gateway Mall to sign up and install AutoSweep RFID stickers for free from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (or until stocks are available). Riders are requested to park at any level of the Gateway Mall parking area.

The promo is on a first-come-first-served basis and no phone-in as well as online reservations will be permitted. Vehicle owners are encouraged to come to the Gateway Mall earlier to avoid cut-offs.

A maximum of 250 RFID stickers will be released daily. No RFID stickers will be issued if there are no vehicles onsite and RFID sticker installation and testing cannot be done outside the parking area of the Gateway Mall.

The AutoSweep RFID can be used exclusively at Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX), Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway (MCX), Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR) Tollway, Ninoy Aquino International Airport Expressway (NAIAX), South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), and Skyway.

Here is the procedure for AutoSweep RFID installation:

1. The vehicle owners need to bring their vehicles to Araneta City and park at any level at the Gateway Mall.
2. They can go to the AutoSweep booth situated at the ground floor (near Breadtalk and Taco Bell).
3. They need to fill out the form (or submit an accomplished form, if downloaded virtually) at the booth.
4. After submission of the form, the AutoSweep representative will hold a short interview with the owner to evaluate his or her vehicle. The owner needs to pay an initial load of P200 (strictly cash payment only) for the AutoSweep card.
5. After payment, they need to accompany the Autosweep representative to their vehicle for the installation and testing of the RFID sticker.
