Bosch to reveal new vehicle lights on Dec. 12

MANIILA: Leading automotive solutions provider Bosch is set to launch a new range of lighting components on Sunday, December 12. These new products were designed to make driving safer and more convenient, especially during long road trips at night.

Bosch’s newest 4W (four-wheeler) lighting bulbs — Gigalight 120, Gigalight 150, Sportec Bright 4000L, and LED Retrofit — provide the best illumination for almost any vehicle. These Bosch Bulbs, which are made of the highest-quality materials, will deliver ease and visual comfort, making night driving considerably safer.

In a statement, Bosch Philippines Automotive Aftermarket Country Sales Director Paulo Duarte said, “To see and to be seen in the dimmest of areas is crucial to the prevention of unwanted accidents. Enabling motorists with components that are of optimal quality and of standard is essential to making roads safer. The Bosch Bulbs Gigalight 120, 150, the Sportec Bright 4000K, and the LED Retrofit will provide motorists the luminosity they need to vividly see road signs or obstacles ahead, in under any weather circumstances.”

The Gigalight Plus 120 provides up to 120% more light for faraway objects compared to conventional halogen lights. Even under adverse weather conditions, the Gigalight Plus 120’s bright white light can recognize possible risks very early.

Meanwhile, the Gigalight Plus 150 produces 150% more light and has a brighter intensity due to its pure xenon gas and adjusted filament size. It has a white, daylight-like luminance that can aid in the early detection of obstructions and lane markings.

The Sportec Bright 4000K produces white light with its blue-coated bulb and 4,000-Kelvin color temperature. Its brightness is so strong that it can see through rain or fog, making it ideal for provincial driving. The bulb is also certified by the Economic Commission for Europe (ECE), therefore, it is compatible with vehicles manufactured in Europe.

The Bosch LED Retrofit enables a quick, hassle-free upgrade from halogen to LED with its plug-and-play installation. It uses up to 80% less energy than halogen and has a maximum brightness of 2,300 Lumens, making it the car lighting of the future.

The Bosch Gigalight 120, Gigalight 150, Sportec Bright 4000K, and LED Retrofit will be available at Bosch’s official stores in Lazada and Shopee.
