According to the oil firm’s local arm, the Gulf Trackday at Clark International Speedway was made accessible to everyone — making the event free for everyone, irrespective of their racing background or experience levels.
The program, Gulf Oil said, underlined its dedication to the racing community as among the Trackday’s features was its emphasis on inclusivity and camaraderie.

“Whether you were a seasoned racing driver or a complete novice, you were welcome to participate. The event aimed to create a supportive environment where participants could learn, share their passion, and connect with like-minded individuals. It was not just about getting an adrenaline fix; it was about coming together as a community of enthusiasts who shared a common love for motorsports,” the firm said in a statement.
The event also allowed participants to test their vehicles on the track and experience the thrill of speed in a safe and controlled environment.

In addition to the adrenaline rush of hitting the track, the Gulf Trackday gave participants educational opportunities as novice drivers had access to experienced instructors who provided valuable guidance and tips to improve their driving skills.
“Gulf has a rich history and strong association with motorsports. The iconic blue and orange livery of Gulf is instantly recognizable in race cars. It has become synonymous with success and performance in the world of racing as we continue to provide high performance lubricants and actively participate on the track. This is why we want to contribute to the expansion of Philippine motorsports and give back to the industry that supports our business,” Gulf Oil Philippines General Manager Michael Alfred Francisco said.
