Powering the Suzuki Smash 115 is a four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 112.8cc engine, which produces a maximum power output of 8.7PS and a peak torque output of 9.0Nm. While the Suzuki Smash 115 looks youthful for the price at which it is offered, to keep costs in check, Suzuki has made it feel basic by not equipping enough with modern features. The bike feels a tad too simple, and except the convenience of an electric starter, it misses out on a number of features, which includes the basic essentials like alloy wheels.

The Suzuki Smash 115 has been blessed with a very small under-seat storage compartment of just 8 litres, which is not large enough to accommodate medium-sized objects. Also, the small fuel tank of 4.2 litres reduces the overall tank range, thus reducing its overall practicality furthermore
