Like on the outside, the interior cabin of the Alfa Romeo Giulia maintains a good balance of outright sportiness as well as premium luxurious appeal. The cabin exudes a good combination of dual-tone black and beige upholstery with premium metal and wood inserts.

The multifunctional steering wheel feels quite elusive with its nicely styled spokes and unique positioning for the push start-stop button below its left spoke, just like in exotic supercars. The pod-like instrument console with a large coloured TFT screen in between enhances the sportiness of the driver’s cockpit even more.

The flowing theme for the upper layer of the dashboard mimics the curvaceous appeal of the exterior very well, with the 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system nicely tucked in the middle. The Alfa Romeo Giulia sports the evolved design ethos of the Italian carmaker, which makes it look super sleek and stylish, and gives it a certain exotic appeal to it.

The front look of the Alfa Romeo Giulia has the same triangular grille laid out in an inverted manner like in all the Alfa Romeos in the past. The longitudinally laid eyebrow shaped full LED headlamp consists of LED projectors on the outer edges and the daytime running LEDs in the inner ones. The large air dam in the front bumper completes the front fascia of the Giulia.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia looks extremely aerodynamic when viewed from the sides, with a flowing and curvy theme right from the front to the rear. The curved roofline as well as rounded window line makes it look curvaceous, with the sporty pattern for 19-inch machined alloy wheels rounding off the premium look.

The sweptback tail lamps with their stretched layout and cool looking LED inserts to make the already wide rear profile look even wider and premium. Apart from the dual glossy black exhaust ports – one each on either side, there is a unique slim boot lid-mounted spoiler which adds to the sporty appeal.

Under the skin, the Alfa Romeo Giulia is fitted with double-wishbone with coil springs at the front and multi-link setup at the rear, which keeping in mind the dual appeal of the overall design, has a good balance of stiffness and plushness at the same time. The Giulia rides on 17-inch wheels shod with low profile tires.

For the Philippines market, the only engine and gearbox combination available in the Alfa Romeo Giulia is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine coupled to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The engine here produces 200 PS of maximum power output and 330 Nm of peak torque output.

The list of safety features in the Alfa Romeo Giulia is quite lengthy for its segment, with the most prominent inclusions such as traffic jam and highway assist, active blind spot assist, lane keep assist, active cruise control, traffic sign recognition and driver attention assist, along with the obvious ones like airbags all around, ABS with EBD and reverse camera with front and rear parking sensors.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia is one expensive vehicle for its segment, however, there is no other sedan in its space which exudes an appeal and desirability as strong as that of the Giulia. With typical Italian flair in its exterior design and great interior designing and comfortable seats and ride quality make the package even stronger.
