The BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer is a perfect premium vehicle for the entire family for those long weekend trips. Despite being a compact MPV, it can accommodate seven passengers. But the 2-seat pullout system from the trunk is best suited for children. The all-wheel-drive and the 8-speed Steptronic transmission offer a punchy performance. The vehicle has the minimum body roll among its rivals because of the superb suspension system. The steering responds to a light touch and is accurate to the core. But there should have been more legroom on the third row. It appears crammed. But that’s typical with most 7-seaters.
