Bristol Vantaggio Design

In terms of dimensions, the Bristol Vantaggio Version 2 measures 1,855 mm in length, 709 mm in width, 1,140 mm in overall height, and 760 mm in seat height. This scooter also comes with a 1,350-mm wheelbase.

The Vantaggio Version 2 looks slightly more approachable than the Version 1 model, thanks in part to its slimmer, more city-friendly frame. It retains the same neo-retro styling that defined its predecessor. Up front, it sports a round LED headlamp with a sleek LED daytime running light (DRL), which is complemented by round mirrors finished in shiny chrome. It also gets new teardrop-shaped LED signal lights integrated into its front fairing (where a classy ‘Bristol’ emblem is displayed). And, underneath, it comes with a body-coloured front fender.

Moreover, a ‘Vantaggio’ emblem is placed on its side fairings (right and left), proudly emphasizing its identity wherever it goes. This scooter is fitted with 12-inch wheels with sporty-looking blacked-out rims, adding a bit of a sporty touch to its overall appearance on the road. Additionally, a shiny exhaust pipe is noticeable from the right side. Similar to the front end, its rear also exudes a classic vibe, highlighted by its round LED tail lamp and another pair of hexagonal signal lights.

Meanwhile, the rider gets an LCD instrument panel and a USB charging port for his or her phone. Its saddle is well-padded and supportive, while the passenger also benefits from pillion footrests that make low-speed filtering more comfortable. In terms of practicality, this scooter comes with a small under-seat compartment, which can only accommodate a small half-face helmet, as well as two front pockets on each side.

On the bright side, the Vantaggio Version 2 has a wide footboard, a functional utility hook for the rider’s small bag or groceries, and a built-in bracket that doubles as a grab handle for the pillion during low-speed filters.

Vantaggio Ride & Handling

In terms of suspension, the Bristol Vantaggio Version 2 comes with a Telescopic Fork at the front and Dual Shock Absorbers at the rear. It is important to note that this setup feels more sporty than plush, particularly in the city. That said, this scooter handles sharp turns with confidence but can feel a bit bouncy on rough, unpaved urban roads. However, it can still absorb smaller humps and minor ruts quite well, making it well-suited for everyday city riding.

Bristol Vantaggio Engine & Fuel Consumption

The Bristol Vantaggio Version 2 is powered by a 150cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 16.2 hp of maximum power and 14.6 Nm of maximum torque. This scooter comes mated to a continuously variable transmission.

This scooter feels quite peppy off the line, giving it enough punch for high-speed cruising and quick city overtakes. Its CVT is also smooth and responsive, enhancing the rider’s overall experience on the road. Most importantly, its engine delivers impressive fuel efficiency, even in heavy traffic, which more than makes up for its small 10-L fuel tank.

Vantaggio Braking & Safety

Safety is one of the main highlights of the Bristol Vantaggio Version 2. This scooter is equipped with front and rear disc brakes supported by a dual-channel anti-lock braking system and a new traction control system. This scooter also has built-in reflectors for better visibility at all times.

Bristol Vantaggio Verdict

The Bristol Vantaggio Version 2 is a compelling option for riders who are looking for a classy, neo-retro styled scooter that delivers modern performance and advanced safety without compromising on cost-effectiveness and everyday city usability. It definitely deserves more attention from the local consumers.
