The Harley Davidson Sportster S is sportier than ever bike from the American motorcycle manufacturers and perfectly blends some really cool sporty character into an overall retro-styled classic cruiser motorcycle. Inspired by Harley’s other bikes in the range, namely the clearly Sportster 1200 XR, the bike features high-mounted pipes that provide a flat-tracker aesthetic to the bike. 

The massive tires and a really low-slung stance give it an aggressive look with a menacing road presence. The cropped tail perfectly uplifts the retro feel of the bike and the overall performance-oriented aesthetic. Overall, Harley has created a perfect machine for the more young and performance-focused riders with compact bodywork, bulky tires, and sleek flowing lines all throughout the bike’s body.

Due to Revolution Max technology as the structural component of the chassis, the bike loses some weight as it does not get the traditional frame and makes for more precise and smooth handling. 

The new Harley Davidson Sportster S is powered by a performance-oriented 1,252cc V-twin, liquid-cooled engine that makes for some seriously impressive performance with a peak power production of 121 hp and a peak torque of 125 Nm. The true potential of the engine is unveiled in the “Sports” riding mode and you can seriously feel that punchy power from the engine in that mode. Paired to a 6-speed manual transmission, the gear shifting is almost seamless making it a great ride not just for highway cruising but also to hover through city traffic. 

The bike gets a fuel tank with a capacity of 11.8 liters and with a decent fuel economy of around 9-10 kmpl, you can expect quite a long ride before having to refill. 

The Sportster S is Harley Davidson’s long step towards incorporating modern technology and the bike gets a vast range of safety features including disc brakes on both wheels that offer very stable and powerful braking capabilities to this powerful machine. Harley gives the bike Cornering Enhanced ABS and Cornering Enhanced Traction Control system. The TFT screen offers all details of the bike’s vitals including battery voltage, tire pressure, engine temperatures, and a range of other data.
