Harley-Davidson Street 750 Review 2025
Ever since its launch, the Harley Davidson Street 750 has been a success story. It has been proved to be an entry gate to the world of Harley Davidson thanks to its price tag. Sporting an all-new powertrain from Harley Davidson, the Street 750 is currently the most affordable motorcycle in the American manufacturer’s lineup. Harley Davidson sells the Street 750 in the Philippines in eight different paint schemes – Black Denim, Bonneville Salt Pearl, Rawhide, Bonneville Salt Pearl Deluxe, Vivid Black, Vivid Black Deluxe, Wicked Red Deluxe and Wicked Red Denim.
Harley-Davidson Street 750 Design
When Harley Davidson launched the Street 750 for the first time, it impressed a lot of people, particularly those new buyers who wanted to buy a Harley but were quite intimidated by the size and price of the bigger Harleys. In the current iteration, except for the paint schemes, much hasn’t changed about the Street 750 as it is already one handsome motorcycle and is friendly to ride owing to its compact dimensions.
At the front, the Street 750 gets a round headlamp which is surrounded by a large curvy cowl, as seen in many café racers. Unlike the more premium Harleys which get spoke wheels and engine components bathed in chrome, the Street 750 gets a sinister black theme for its alloy wheels and other parts.
The Street 750 features a peanut-shaped fuel tank which lacks any kind of cuts and creases and accentuates the sober appeal of the motorcycle. Placed ahead of the engine is a huge radiator grille that sits right ahead of the engine, giving a big bike appeal to the Street 750. Keeping the simplicity of the motorcycle intact are the long single piece seat and boxy looking side body cowls. The single piece exhaust pipe looks way too simple but is functional, though.
At the rear, the Street 750 gets a sloping tailpiece, at the lower tip of which are positioned a rectangular LED tail lamp and a short rear fender. Going with the theme, the instrument console, too, has a very functional and flair-less display. This round shaped console consists of an analog dial for the speedometer and a small LCD screen which displays digital readouts for odometer, trip meters, and clock. Given the affordability of the Street 750, the cost-cutting measures such as basic switchgear and questionable fit and finish at some places are quite evident.
Street 750 Ride & Handling
The Harley Davidson Street 750 has been equipped with an old school setup of telescopic hydraulic forks at the front and twin hydraulic coil springs at the rear. The overall suspension setup maintains a perfect balance between the outright stiffness of a hardcore roadster and the suppleness of a highway cruiser which gives it a nice ride quality and handling combination. The Street 750 gets a single disc brake setup at both the front as well as rear.
Harley-Davidson Street 750 Engine & Fuel Consumption
At the time of its launch, the Street 750 premiered an all-new family of engines in the form of Revolution X, which was almost built up from scratch. The current generation Street 750 continues to sport this same four-stroke, twin cylinder, 749cc V-Twin engine that produces a maximum torque output of 59 Nm.
Coupled to a 6-speed gearbox, this engine impresses with its strong midrange and notable top end power. However, compared to other engines from Harley Davidson, this engine misses out on the traditional grunty exhaust note and is rather silent.
Street 750 Braking & Safety
Along with the of disc brakes at the front as well as rear, the currently available Street 750 also gets a dual channel ABS which was missing at the time of its launch.
Harley-Davidson Street 750 Verdict
With the Street 750, Harley Davidson opened up doors for a number of individuals who wanted a Harley but at a more accessible price point and with easy riding dynamics. While the overall styling is not as catchy and premium as the other premium Harleys, the Street 750 still gives the proper big bike appeal with its perfectly crafted dimensions and sweet performance levels.
