Suzuki Address Review 2025
The Address is one of the highest selling and most successful nameplates for Suzuki across the globe, especially in ASEAN countries. With its urban-oriented styling and major focus on utility, the Suzuki Address has served as a perfect people mover in a very easy and economical manner. In the Philippines, the Suzuki Address is priced at Php 66,900, and is being made available in paint shades of Titan Black, Metallic Medium Blue with Titan Black, Celebration Red with Titan Black, and White. It also gets the very sporty looking MotoGP livery.
Suzuki Address Design
The Address is the most affordable scooter in Suzuki’s lineup, which explains the fact that the company hasn’t taken major steps in making it a distinctive offering. The overall styling of the Address is too simple to make it look a stand out vehicle.
At the front, the Suzuki Address shares its headlamp assembly with another popular Suzuki bike, the Skydrive. The headlamp is large enough to give the front fascia some sort of substance. The sharp looking front apron comes with angular turn indicators.
From the sides, the Suzuki Address continues its very sleek profile, especially when you view its side body panels from the rear angle. The floorboard is wide enough to accommodate tall rider, however, it comes with only one hook for mounting of your luggage. The single piece seat is large and wide enough to accommodate two full-sized adults with ease.
At the rear, the Address comes with a wide and rounded clear lens tail lamp cluster, a large single piece pillion grab rail, and a very long rear fender, all of which make it look very functional.
Suzuki has played it safe by not going overboard with the Address’ styling and features list. Take for instance, the instrument console of the scooter. The small panel consists of a dominating speedometer with odometer at the centre and a small fuel gauge below it.
Address Ride & Handling
This is one aspect where the Suzuki Address really shines and positions itself as an attractive product. The Address comes equipped with telescopic forks at the front and a single-sided coil spring suspension at the rear. As expected, the suspension setup is a perfect balance between being stiff and plush. It makes the ride quality and handling of the scooter at an ideal balance.
The Address, thanks to its low kerb weight of 95 kg and a slim profile, is one easy to handle scooter. The large 14-inch wheels on both the ends too play a significant role in giving the Address the sharp manoeuvring characteristics. The braking setup with front disc and rear drum is quite decent as well.
Suzuki Address Engine & Fuel Consumption
At the heart of the Suzuki Address is a simply engineered four stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled, fuel injected, 113 cc engine. The same mill does duty on other scooters as well as underbone offerings from Suzuki.
Here too, the engine pumps out a maximum power output of 9.3 PS and a peak torque of 8.7Nm, making it one of the most powerful scooters in the entry level scooter category. The engine is mated to a smooth CVT gearbox and returns a very impressive fuel economy of 53 kmpl in urban conditions.
Address Braking & Safety
The Address is an entry-level offering which is designed keeping affordability as a primary factor. Due to this, the scooter misses out on ABS, but then it comes with nifty safety features on board, such as the key shutter mechanism as well as rear brake lock.
Suzuki Address Verdict
With sorted performance, ride quality, and handling, the Suzuki Address comes out as one of the most practical two-wheelers on sale in the country. It might not amaze you with its laid out styling and limited features on board. However, the perfection in mechanical aspects is enough to make it a desirable product for all those mature riders who prefer function over form.
