The 13-inch front wheel and 12-inch rear wheel might look small in size, however, they are capable enough to give it nice handling traits. The single disc brake setup at both the ends does provide excellent feedback on the application.

The Suzuki Burgman 200 sources its power from a very refined and smooth four stroke, single cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injected, 200 cc engine. As with the majority of other scooters, the engine is mated to a simple CVT gearbox and pumps out a maximum power output of 18.35 PS and a peak torque output of 18.8 Nm. The large fuel tank capacity of 10.5 litres gives it a very nice range, thus proving its maxi-scooter characteristics.

It is a fact that the Burgman 200 could have been equipped with a couple of more contemporary features so as to match the urban appeal of its maxi-scooter design. However, the big size complements the European flavour in its design, making it a sure-shot head turner. The performance, as well as ride quality and handling, are easily among the best in class, making the Burgman 200 a proven scooter on mechanical grounds.
