Sojitz Fuso PH offering up to P200k in discounts for Canter, FJ trucks

MANILA: Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP) introduces its “Hot Discounts September Promo,” which offers up to P200,000 off select trims of its Canter lineup. Plus, a P100,000 discount offer is also available for its FJ 2828R C/C model. 

For reference, here is a table listing down all of the available discounts under SFP’s latest promo:

According to the company, the aforementioned discount offers will make its Canter and FJ models more accessible for small, medium, and large enterprises to acquire a “reliable mobility solution” that will provide the necessary logistics needs of their daily operations. 

The most affordable version of the Fuso Canter with a discount offer is the FE71 - a light-duty model that may come in a 10-footer or 11-footer body configuration. It is likewise sold in the Philippines with a six-speed automated manual transmission (AMT) or a five-speed manual transmission. 

Propelling the said model is a 3-liter double-overhead cam (DOHC) diesel engine equipped with a high-performance variable geometry turbocharger, a high-pressure common rail fuel-injection system, and a high-precision cooled EGR system.

At maximum, the said engine can generate up to 129 horsepower and 350 Newton-meters of torque. For enhanced fuel efficiency, the AMT trims of the FE71 come with an economy mode. Enhanced usability is likewise available through its low-speed creep function and a manual gear mode. 

For safety, the model also comes with the following components: 

• Anti-lock braking
• Electronic brake-force distribution
• Reinforced impact safety evolution (cab reinforcement)
• Collapsible steering wheel
