2024 GIIAS to start tomorrow

MANILA: This year's Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) shall start tomorrow.

In a statement, event organizers said that the much-awaited event will be held in four different venues at the following dates:

• GIIAS Tangerang: July 18–28 July 2024 at ICE-BSD City, Tangerang Regency
• GIIAS Surabaya: August 28-September 1 at Grand City Convex, Surabaya.
• GIIAS Bandung: September 25–29 at Sudirman Grand Ballroom, Bandung.
• GIIAS Semarang: October 23–27 at the Muladi Dome Undip, Semarang.

More than 55 marques (30 passenger vehicle brands, 5 commercial vehicle brands and 20 motorcycle brands) will join the event to showcase developments in automotive technology, including electric cars, eco-friendly vehicles, and future mobility solutions.

In addition, event organizers shared that more than 40 vehicles will be launched at the event (starting from the World Premier, Asian Premier, Indonesian Premier.

Customers can also experience their targeted vehicle’s capabilities at the first leg’s test drive area that spans 26,000 square meters.

GIIAS 2024 will have at least 120 brands that offer automotive components, accessories, and other supporting equipment in the venue and shall allot 120,000 square meters of space for wide-ranging culinary offerings.  

Further, the event will once again hold the Gaikindo International Automotive Conference (GIAC). In the aforementioned event, experts, high-ranking government officials, representatives from international associations, and world-renowned automotive consultants will discuss global issues facing the automotive industry.

"We have prepared a series of activities and facilities that will make visitors to GIIAS 2024 feel an unforgettable moment during their visit. We are ready to welcome automotive enthusiasts to come and visit GIIAS 2024," GIIAS 2024 Project Director Sri Vista Limbong said.
