MANILA: ACMobility has opened two new charging stations in Ayala Center, Cebu.

Per the mobility arm of the Ayala Group, the two new charging locations for electric vehicles (EV) are located at Basement 1 of the Ayala Center Cebu parking lot. They are available for use with EVs that have compatible Combined Charging System 2 (CCS2) and GB/T standards.

The charging stations — ACMobility pointed out — are the company’s first in the Queen City of the South and complements the recent opening of BYD in the region. By launching the Chinese EV brand and expanding its charging network in Cebu, ACMobility looks to provide locals with quality, accessible electric cars and the infrastructure to sustain them.

To note, BYD’s offerings in the Philippines include the Atto 3, Dolphin, and Tang.

As of last month, ACMobility has 48 charging stations spread across 23 locations nationwide.

Cebuanos looking to recharge their EVs at the new charging stations run by ACMobility can drop by Ayala Center Cebu from 10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. from Sunday-Thursday and 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. from Friday-Saturday.

Charging EVs using the said stations will be free of charge until the end of the month.
