Astara PH Announces Executive Leadership Appointments

MANILA: Franz Decloedt, who has served as the Marketing Director of Astara Philippines since March of this year, has been promoted as the Brand Head at GAC Motor Philippines.

Decloedt's new position will put him in charge of GAC Motor's brand operations, where he will direct strategic sales and marketing plans and contribute to the brand's ongoing success. He will also be in charge of Peugeot Philippines' marketing and sales operations until a new brand head is appointed. Decloedt has more than 20 years of experience in marketing leadership roles in the FMCG and automotive sectors.

“Franz's dedication, creativity, and proven track record make him the perfect fit for leading the GAC Motor brand to new heights. We are confident that his insights and leadership will drive our brand's evolution in the competitive automotive market,” Astara Philippines Managing Director Raoul Picello stated.

Meanwhile, Timmy Naval-de Leon has been appointed the new Marketing Director of Astara Philippines. Naval-de Leon, a seasoned veteran in the automotive sector with more than 20 years of marketing and corporate communications experience, is well-suited to spearhead strategic marketing direction and brand-building initiatives for all automotive brands under Astara Philippines.

“We are thrilled to welcome Timmy as the new Marketing Director of our company. Her expertise and fresh perspectives will be instrumental in enhancing our brand's visibility and engagement in the market, especially at this critical period of our company’s growth,” Picello said.
