Autohub Group will trade Pagani cars

MANILA: Autohub Group, celebrating its 20th anniversary, has announced that the company is now the Exclusive Selling Agent of Pagani in the Philippines. Mr. Horacio Pagani, who is the founder of Pagani Automobili arrived in Manila recently and completed the formalities to finalise the deal between the two companies.

For interested customers to experience the distinct customisation options, Autohub Group will be setting up a Pagani Lounge in Bonifacio Global City. The Autohub Group will also take care of special requirements of customers which even include shipping of a Pagani car to any other country.

“We first met Horacio Pagani back in 2015 in Shanghai, China and then we visited the Pagani factory in Modena, Italy in the same year. He’s a really humble guy considering what he did for the whole automobile industry. Now that he’s in Manila, I’m looking forward to seeing his creations on our roads very soon”, said Mr. Willy Tee Ten, Autohub Group President.

Ten also mentioned that a number of customers have already shown their enthusiasm in getting a Pagani car. The details about the interested customers, however, were not disclosed. The Pagani cars start at € 1.056 million (roughly Php 62.67 million) and if the price is not steep enough already, just a “Full Carbon Bodywork” will cost € 112,500 (around Php 6.67 million) more.

As a matter of fact, you can buy a good enough sports car at the additional cost of carbon fibre only. The final price of the car may even reach Php 100 million including taxes and other charges. Along with the Autohub Group’s 20th anniversary, Pagani also celebrated the 20th birthday of its Zonda C12.

The hypercar used Formula One technology and was launched in 1999 Geneva International Motor Show. The now 20-year-old Zonda came to life after Horacio Pagani worked on it for good 7 years. Even in 2019, the Zonda was one of the most iconic cars ever made.

The Pagani Huayra is the predecessor to the Zonda and is as capable and successful as the elder Pagani. A company that started its journey with just one person now has 177 artisans. Just like the Zonda, each and every Huayra is also handmade. Do you have Php 100 million lying around for a Pagani?
