Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max is the Official Presidential Vehicle for 2023 BRICS Summit

MANILA: Chery served as the official presidential vehicle partner at the 2023 BRICS Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max transported the leaders of the BRICS countries throughout the event. This is the second time that Chery participated at the BRICS summit after the Tiggo 7 was used in 2017.

The Tiggo 8 line has been the designated vehicle for numerous major international events, serving as the welcome car for the President of Brazil as well as the official car of Qatar Airways.

“As the official Presidential vehicle partner for such a high-level international summit shows that Chery’s strong global brand image and quality are getting high praises on the international stage,” Chery Automobile said in a statement.

The Tiggo 8 Pro Max is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo GDI engine that produces 187kW of power 390Nm of torque.

The leaders of the BRICS countries enjoyed a comfortable ride with the unique 5+2 seating layout, flexible large space, Lion5.0 AI technology smart cockpit, and the 24.6-inch integrated dual screen of the Tiggo 8 Pro Max.

Since the formation of BRICS in 2006, Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, have worked together in various fields and have produced a number of groundbreaking accomplishments. BRICS has significantly contributed to the promotion of the reform of global government stability and global economic growth.

Chery emerged as the best Chinese global brand builder in the automotive industry among the 2023 Chinese Global Brand Builders Top 50. It also won five times in a row in the State Council Information Office's Top 20 Overseas Image of Chinese Enterprises in 2022. Its overseas market management model also bagged the National Enterprise Management Modernization Innovation Achievement First Prize in 2022.
