Delivery riders, working student win lifetime free gas from Seaoil

MANILA: Two delivery riders and a working student have won a lifetime's supply of fuel from this year's Seaoil Lifetime Free Gas (LFG) promo. 

The winners — Jomar Alluag from Luzon, Jason Deposoy from Visayas, and Jenreel Alger from Mindanao — said they will be using the funds they will save from fuel expenses to support their families. 

Alluag — now a courier for a motorcycle deliver service after losing his previous job to the COVID-19 pandemic — works 10 hours and does up to 18 deliveries a day. 

The 34-year-old provides for his family and sends support to his parents in the province. Thanks to his free gas supply, Alluag plans to build a new home for his family, according to a Seaoil release. 

Alluag used Seaoil's PriceLOCQ app to claim his free fuel at a Seaoil station. 

Meanwhile, Deposoy serves as a courier for a mobile food service, making up to 20 to 30 deliveries daily across Dumaguete City. The 28-year-old now feels he can save for his daughter’s education.

"It’s a huge help for our daily expenses since (I spend a lot just for gas). With this prize, I can really save huge." Deposoy said. 

In Mindanao, Alger — whose time is divided between working and studying as a third-year criminology student — is eager to finish college and work full-time in order to support his family. 

Alger also refuels his vehicle up to 10 times per week for his work trips from Iligan to Cagayan de Oro. 

The 21-year-old and his brother were raised by their fraternal grandparents. With his win, Alger is planning to take his grandparents on road trips, as well as supporting their needs in the long-term.

The Seaoil Lifetime Free Gas (LFG) promo is now in its fifth installment. This year, three winners received one-year’s supply of free gas, four received motorcycle packages, and 75 winners nationwide won gas vouchers worth P3,000.
