Lexus F badge represents brand’s commitment to thrilling performance on- and off-track

The Lexus LFA Supercar is the most famous model with the F badge. After more than a decade of development, the LFA set a new performance milestone. Upshifts took under 200 milliseconds, thanks to a strong V10 and an Automated Sequential Gearbox, setting the lap record for a production car on non-competition tires at the Nurburgring.

The F badge symbolizes Lexus' commitment to thrilling performance both on and off the track. The LFA was created in a unique way. The carbon fiber was woven on a special loom, the digital tachometer was rebuilt to record the high revs, and drivers had complete control over everything from the leather stitching to the brake caliper color. This marvel of engineering, limited to only 500 units, would pave the way for all Lexus performance vehicles to come.

Pushing performance to new levels, the RC F now has the most powerful Lexus V8 to date—a ferocious 472-hp 5.0-liter V8. The RC F produces a raspy, specifically tuned intake and exhaust sound as it rushes to its remarkable 7,300rpm redline.
