Lexus unleashes the 2021 RC F Fuji Speedway Edition, only 60 are available

MANILA: Ever wished your high-performance Lexus RC F could go faster and harder on the track? Wish granted.

Lexus has just launched the 2021 RC F Fuji Speedway Edition and, in the Japanese automaker’s words, it has been “precisely engineered beyond the base RC F.”

To recall, the base RC F has a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 producing 472hp and 535Nm of torque. It is also celebrated for having the best power-to-weight ratio offered in its class.

New to the Fuji Speedway Edition are master-crafted upgrades that work together seamlessly to push its performance to a new level. It has gone through further weight reduction, has Brembo Carbon Ceramic brakes, titanium exhaust, and an extensive use of carbon fiber aerodynamics. It’s estimated 0-100kph time is 3.96 seconds.

It now comes with GT3-inspired looks and the name, of course, pays homage to the world-renowned “Temple of Speed”, the Fuji Speedway, located at the foothills of Mount Fuji.

Only 60 units will ever be made, and it will only come in two colors, Arctic Blast Satin or Cloudburst Gray. Inside, every cockpit is decorated with Circuit Red leather-trimmed seats with Alcantara accents and red carbon fiber ornamentation.

Included with the purchase of every RC F Fuji Speedway Edition will be a limited production MSTR automatic movement watch. The timepiece features RC F-inspired elements such as a gunmetal bezel, red stitching on its band, and Fuji Speedway and F logos.
