Omoda confirms arrival in PH this year

MANILA: Omoda, the newest brand under the Chery Auto Group, is set to enter the local market this year with the Omoda 5 as its introductory product.

The “O” in Omoda stands for enthusiasm, optimism, and excitement. It also  stems from the symbol of oxygen, a very essential element.

Meanwhile, “Moda” is derived from the word “modern” and denotes innovation and style. Omoda makes the commitment to produce cars with svelte exterior styling and cutting-edge functionality.

Omoda is a brand that caters to young drivers and offers cars that meet their needs. In order to produce a vehicle that fits these requirements, Global Omoda's Research and Development team carried out over 1,000 studies in 20 countries, including the Philippines. The Omoda 5, the first product that will be released in the country, combines the features of vehicles from many categories, including the comfort and handling of a sedan, the chassis of an SUV, as well as the spaciousness of an MPV.

The Omoda 5 will come with dual 10.25-inch screens, a 4.0 human-machine interface system, and ADAS with 16 safe driving assistance functions, promising a comprehensive smart technology system.
