Shell opens first-ever Helix Flagship Auto Workshop in PH

MANILA: Shell Philippines has opened the first-ever Shell Helix Flagship Auto Workshop in the country. 

The aforementioned facility is located along Mindanao Avenue, in Fairview, Quezon City, and according to Shell, it is also the first of its kind in the world. 

With an extensive range of car-related services, the Shell Helix Flagship Auto Workshop is a more complete standalone alternative to gas station-based service centers.

Per Shell, the newly opened outlet in Fairview, for example, can provide comprehensive oil changes, periodic maintenance, and the complete lineup of Shell lubricants. 

Of particular note is the Shell Helix Engine Oils with PurePlus Technology.

Shell Philippines’ lineup of lubricants currently includes the following:

• Helix Ultra (fully synthetic)
• HX8 (fully synthetic)
• SUV (fully synthetic)
• Shell Helix HX7 (semi-synthetic)
• Shell Helix HX5 (premium mineral)
• Shell Helix HX3 (mineral)

Based on the equipment present at the Shell Helix Flagship Auto Workshop in Fairview, it is likewise geared for handling a variety of other repair jobs.

Shell Philippines' website likewise indicates that the standalone auto workshop can handle brake service jobs, clutch and drivetrain repair, adjustment and alignment services for wheels and suspension systems - among others. 

Additionally, the fuel company has assured that any branch of the Shell Helix Flagship Auto Workshop has the same level of expertise as community workshops and mechanics. 

And of course, Shell has likewise given back to these community-based talyers (car workshops) by commencing technical training and “upskilling programs” through TESDA.

“Filipino motorists and car owners rely on the expertise of local mechanics - their service and recommendations are king,” Shell Philippines Head of Marketing and Business Development Ika Halili said.

To note, there are other Shell Helix Flagship Auto Workshops around the country that are now open and ready to accept customers as of this writing.

The aforementioned includes one in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, and another along Alijis Road in Bacolod.

In the near future, the company will be establishing other branches of the Shell Helix Flagship Auto Workshop in Albay, Batangas, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, General Santos, Marikina, and Zamboanga.
