Shell launches new FuelSave formulation

MANILA: In celebration of its 110th year in the Philippine market, Shell Pilipinas Corporation has launched the latest formulation of its Shell FuelSave product. 

According to the local oil player, FuelSave is markedly more efficient than ever before. It can save up to one liter per full tank. Otherwise, the fuel brand claims it can help one’s vehicle achieve a better overall range of up to 15 kilometers. 

To further explain the new FuelSave, the fuel company conducted a special presentation led by its in-house fuels scientist, Tina Jia. As per the fuels expert, the new FuelSave is the result of five years of rigorous testing. 

Jia also provided insight into why the company’s research is an unrelenting process with the prime reason being the ever-changing engine technology coming from the automotive industry. 

“We need to continuously evolve our fuel formulations because engine technology is evolving. Modern engines work under harsher conditions, at higher temperatures, under higher loads,” Jia said. 

With the release of the new formulation of FuelSave and the introduction of the new Shell V-Power in 2023, Shell Pilipinas has thus completed what it describes as its “best-ever fuel portfolio.”

To make the new FuelSave launch event even grander, the fuels and lubricants company invited 110 motorists with different types of vehicles to the Clark International Speedway (CIS) in Pampanga.

All event participants were encouraged to hit the race track for an enjoyable caravan drive in order to experience the new fuel formulation’s “Sulit ang Bawat Trip” (every journey affordable) promise.

Shell Pilipinas’ activity in Pampanga is just one of the many that will mark the fuel company’s 110th anniversary. The company further shared that the completion of its portfolio and the continuous improvement of its services are testaments to its commitment to empowering mobility through innovation. As such, it hopes that more Filipinos will look forward to more fulfilling journeys with Shell.
