BMW R 1200 GS and R 1200 GS Adventure get black edition cases

MANILA: The adventure-tourers from BMW, the R 1200 GS, and the R 1200 GS Adventure just got meaner, thanks to the inclusion of black edition cases. The motorcycles get a black top box and side panniers that are made up of anodized aluminum. Out of which the top box is priced at USD 800.28 (Php 42,043) while the pair of side panniers can be bought at USD 1,642 (Php 86263).

The top box comes with a storage capacity of 32-litre while on the other hand, the left side pannier can store at max 44 litres of goods and the right gets a storage capacity of 36 litres. The overall appeal of cases is black, however, its handles and bolts are finished in brushed aluminium.

The Black Edition cases are currently on offer with a two-year warranty, which will go on sale in June globally. Currently, both the adventure touring motorcycles come equipped with plastic and silver aluminum cases. Choosing them depends on your preference.

Both the adventure tourers, the BMW R 1200 GS and BMW R 1200 GS Adventure are powered by twin-cylinder boxer engine with power and torque rated at 126.7 PS at 7750 rpm and 125 Nm at 6500 rpm respectively.
