The cabin of the Abarth 500e has some packaging issues. Climbing in and out of the second row is a nightmare and the rear seats are not that spacious. The boot is also a bit small. However, an artificial sound generator and funky styling help to give the Abarth 50this vehicle a cheeky character that can be matched by only a few other EVs. Both pedals have been modulated nicely so it’s very smooth and easy to drive. The official range is around 164 miles, which in this day and age is pretty modest. Charging is also a bit slow.
