Upon entering the Bentley Continental GT, you are greeted by soft-touch materials and premium man-made stitches all around the vehicle. All variants get Nappa leather seats, which are very well-padded and provide all passengers with top-notch comfort and ergonomics even on longer trips. The higher trims flaunt their respective embroidered seat emblems for a more prestigious vibe inside the cabin. 

All passengers can enjoy a rotating 12.3-inch high-resolution capacitive touchscreen infotainment display with proximity sensors and hard key controls, which offers a 60 GB solid-state drive, 4G LTE telephone module, Bluetooth and WIFI audio streaming, as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Bentley Continental GT features an ethereal flare courtesy of its full LED matrix headlights with a crystallized effect or what Bentley calls as the ‘Harmony Crystal’ design. All variants get classy-looking grilles and front splitters, which enhance their overall demeanor on the road. For a more premium and sophisticated look, the Mulliner variant flaunts a bright floating-diamond radiator grille.

This luxury grand tourer features a classy-looking side profile, which strikes an appealing balance between elegance and sportiness whenever it passes by. All variants except for the base trim run on 22-inch wheels with a distinct styling for each model. Meanwhile, the base GT gets the 21-inch counterparts. On top, the Mulliner and Azure variants feature a panoramic glass sunroof as a standard for a more prestigious feel. 

Its classy, sporty personality carries over to its rear. Its rear is illuminated by full LED taillights. The S and Speed variants feature smoked lenses on their tail lights for a sportier look. Additionally, oval exhaust finishers add more depth to its hindlook.

In terms of suspension, all variants of the Bentley Continental GT utilize the brand’s two-chamber, two-valve air suspension system with continuous damping control. This advanced suspension setup allows this luxury grand tourer to confidently handle sharp twisties or winding roads even at high speeds. For its size, it is maneuverable and offers very precise steering. It also has great absorption of bumps and other road imperfections. All in all, the Continental GT can deliver a comfortable and supple cruising experience for all passengers both on short and long-distance trips.

The Bentley Continental GT comes in two powertrain options. First, the Mulliner and Speed variants are powered by Bentley’s Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain, which utilizes a 4L V8 PHEV engine that produces a combined maximum power output of 782 PS and a whopping combined maximum torque of 1,000 Nm. On the other hand, the S, Azure, and base trims get the High Performance Hybrid powertrain that utilizes the same engine but generates a combined system power of 680 PS and a combined system torque of 930 Nm. All variants are equipped with four drive modes: Comfort, Bentley, Custom, and Sport.

Regardless of the type of hybrid powertrain, the vehicle offers a WLTP driving range of 861 km and an E-range of 84 km. All variants run on an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission system and utilize an active all-wheel drivetrain. 

This luxury grand tourer is impressively quick off the line. Its engine produces a very lively roar as you go up the rev range, yet the cabin remains quiet and peaceful thanks to its high-quality NVH suppression management. This makes light work of overtaking slower vehicles on free-flowing highways. This can be a feasible daily driver in the city if driven sensibly. However, its fuel consumption can skyrocket if you step on the pedal aggressively. 

In terms of safety, the Bentley Continental GT comes with a long list of driver assistance systems. This includes a driver assist environmental display, adaptive cruise assist (with lane guidance for Mulliner and Azure variants), lane assist, blind spot warning, Bentley Safeguard Plus, 3D surround view camera, front and rear park distance control, as well as a Bentley GPS tracking system among others. 

All variants come with front ventilated disc brakes with Bentley branded calipers and rear ventilated disc brakes with regular calipers. Its braking setup is supported by an anti-lock braking system, electronic brakeforce distribution, electronic stability control with traction control, hydraulic brake assist, and drag torque control.
