Images of the new BMW 8 Series Convertible recently appeared on the internet. The car is expected to debut globally in 2022. The current version of the BMW 8 Series available in the Philippines is equipped with a turbocharged, 8-cylinder, 4.4-litre petrol engine which produces 524 PS maximum power and 750 Nm peak torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Major features of the car include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, BMW Live Cockpit Professional with a navigation system, collision and pedestrian detection, antilock braking, lane departure warning, automatic climate control, antilock braking, and a multifunction steering wheel. The BMW 8 Series is priced at ₱13.49 million.
