BMW entered the premium subcompact crossover segment in the country with the X2. It can also be viewed as the more stylish alternative to the X1. Or as a hatchback on stilts. Being a BMW, it comes with its characteristic design cues which also include homages to many BMWs of the past. LED lighting and unique lower grille treatment also give it added presence. The interior comes with everything you’d expect from a BMW. There are sporty seats lined with Alcantara, touchscreen infotainment with iDrive connectivity, parking assist are just a few of its many hi-tech luxury features. What we get here is the X2 xDrive20d M Sport X variant that is loaded with the M Sport package on top of all this. Under the hood is a 2L inline 4 TwinPower Turbo diesel engine churning out 190 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission while AWD is standard in the form of BMW’s xDrive system. The price for the BMW X2 is Php 4.39 million.
