The Honda Odyssey has been quite a monopoly in the big and high-quality van segment in the Philippines. A friend of mine already owns an Odyssey, so I preferred to take the GAC GM8, a close competitor. And boy, that was the best decision of my life. It is priced under PHP3 million tag but the features and design suggest more. What it does manage to streamline is the power delivery. It is not overly powerful, but enough to be capable and fuel efficient at the same time.
