I’ve been skeptical about hybrid technology for a long time, but after trying out my friend’s Great Wall Haval Menglong PHEV for a week, I was sold. After the positive experience, I got one for myself. This vehicle’s ride quality is very smooth, and on my short daily errands, the electric motor is very useful. Even when I drive this vehicle on the highway, its hybrid system works very well to keep fuel use minimal. From the electric motor, the extra torque makes climbing surprisingly effortless. Despite not being a performance SUV, the Great Wall Haval Menglong PHEV feels reliable.
