Seats of the 2025 Mitsubishi Triton are more supportive than previous models. They keep fatigue under control on long trips. Space at the back benefits from the longer wheelbase. It offering generous legroom and headroom. The ceiling-mounted rear air vents offer effective airflow to passengers sitting at the back. Physical controls like knobs and dials are generously-sized and allow easy operation. These are user-focused and get a functional design philosophy.

Pros and Cons

The user interface is simple and snappy with minimal submenu diving, large tiles, and persistent on-screen shortcut buttons that keep common tasks just a tap away. Higher models get wireless Apple CarPlay.  Android Auto is typically wired. Some higher models get factory navigation that comes in handy in areas with patchy reception. The system supports voice prompts and live guidance with no phone connection. The unit is connected to a multi-speaker audio system.

The 2025 Mitsubishi Triton gets legible analogue dials instead of a fully digital cluster. There’s a colour multi-information display between the dials. The fonts are chunky and contrast under direct sunlight.

Pros and cons

Pros: In-built navigation

Cons: Instrument panel lacks full digital options

Boot Space and Storage

The 2025 Mitsubishi Triton’s cabin offers well-thought, practical storage options that enhance everyday usability. Large door bins in the front can hold bottles and small items. These are complemented by a deep central console box for valuables. The glovebox is decently sized. The dashboard comprises a small tray for keys and coins. Cup holders are conveniently placed for both front and rear passengers. Occupants at the back benefit from seatback pockets and modest door storage. The storage options in 2025 Mitsubishi Triton are functional, keeping things organised and accessible.

Pros and Cons

Pros: Flexible storage options

Cons: In-cabin boot space is limited

Triton Exterior

The 2025 Mitsubishi Triton measures 5,265mm in length, 1,865mm in width, and 1,795mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 3,130mm.

The Mitsubishi Triton’s exterior has evolved impressively over the years. The pickup now combines strength with modern aesthetics. The design, particularly in the higher trims, delivers a strong visual statement.

The 2025 Triton gets Mitsubishi’s ‘Beast Mode’ design scheme that amplifies the vehicle’s road presence. It sports a bold, geometric grille that anchors the front fascia. The vehicle gets all-around LED lighting. The grille is framed by daytime running lights (DRLs) that mimic a hawk’s gaze and is complemented by layered headlights. These create a powerful, three-dimensional appearance. The flared fenders, sharp body lines, and wide stance articulate both solidity and athletic readiness. It’s an award-winning design.

On the sides, large and solid side panels with crisp horizontal themes reinforce a tough, stable look. The cabin’s upper lines and rear spoiler hint at aerodynamics, balancing function and form. At the back, the T-shaped taillights stretch the vehicle’s visual width. These add a polished, modern look to the pickup’s rugged character.

The 2025 Mitsubishi Triton gets one of the largest cargo beds in its class. It measures 1,555mm in length, 1,545mm in width, and 525mm in depth. The bed height is low at 821mm that significantly eases loading and unloading. Built-in anti-slip side steps provide safe and convenient access to the cargo bed. There’s a factory-fitted bed-liner with drainage channels and built-in utility hooks that are ideal for securing cargo and resisting water intrusion. It enhances protection and functionality. The rear bumper gets a corner step design that offers more foot space while accessing the bed.

Pros and Cons

Pros: Class-leading cargo volume and access

Cons: Potential overhang weight distribution

Mitsubishi Triton Mileage Running Cost

The 2025 Mitsubishi Triton returns a practical mileage for its class, averaging around 10–12kmpl on city roads and 13–14kmpl on highways. But it depends on the load and driving style. Its 2.4-litre diesel powertrain balances performance with efficiency, aided by seamless transmission. The 2025 Mitsubishi Triton isn’t the most economical pickup. But it offers respectable fuel economy in its class.

Pros and cons

Pros: Great highway mileage for its class

Cons: Lower city mileage than some rivals

Triton Ride & Handling

The 2025 Mitsubishi Triton outputs a well-balanced ride, blending workhorse-like capability with decent comfort. Its suspension system comprises of a double wishbone setup in the front and leaf springs at the back. The system absorbs bumps well but impact from some sharp potholes and bumps can still be felt inside the cabin. The steering is light and precise for a pickup that makes city riding relatively stress-free. On an off-road surface, the 2025 Mitsubishi Triton’s chassis tuning shines, with superb wheel articulation and damping that keeps the car composed over rocky terrain. The rear leaf springs setup is firm under no load. It lends impressive stability when carrying heavy payloads. The pickup does have some body roll which is common among vehicles in its class. But it’s controlled and aided by a low centre of gravity.

Pros: Handling and steering feel

Cons: Stiff and bouncy ride sometimes

Mitsubishi Triton Engine & Fuel Consumption

The 2025 Mitsubishi Triton is hauled by a twin-turbocharged, inline four-cylinder, 2.5-litre diesel engine that produces 180 PS/430 Nm. The motor is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission (AT) in the entry-level model. The new-generation Mitsubishi Triton is mounted on a strengthened ladder-frame chassis that’s 60 percent more torsion-rigid and 40 percent more efficient in bending stiffness. This results in a noticeably stiffer and a more composed ride. The longer wheelbase significantly improves stability and balance, and reduces rear-end ‘porpoising’ under variable loads. The 2025 Mitsubishi Triton now drives more like a monocoque sports utility vehicle (SUV) than a traditional ladder-frame pickup truck, with minimal frame-body shake, and a planted feel on highways, even when unladen. The 2025 Mitsubishi Triton’s transmission offers smooth shifts and purpose-built gear ratios. The pickup truck comes with selectable Gravel, Mud, Sand, and Rock modes that help optimize traction in challenging off-road scenarios. The 2025 Mitsubishi Triton is impressively rugged but composed, with minimal flex and a confident demeanour on trails.

Pros and cons

Pros: Improved chassis and confident ride

Cons: Limited load placement

Triton Braking & Safety

The 2025 Mitsubishi Triton is equipped with exhaustive safety features. Multiple cameras provide 360-degree visibility that practically eliminate all blind spots. Parking sensors aid in maneuvering. The forward collision mitigation system uses radars for timely braking support. Lane departure warning and rear cross-traffic alert enhance driver’s awareness. The adaptive cruise control system maintains safe distance between automatically. All these system come together to ensure that the 2025 Mitsubishi Triton delivers a confident, all-round protection.

Pros and cons

Pros: Comprehensive driver-assist suite

Cons: Driving monitoring is often distractive

Mitsubishi Triton Verdict

Competitor Comparison

The Toyota Hilux is among the closest competitors of the 2025 Mitsubishi Triton in the Philippines market. Both are rugged pickup trucks built for work and adventure. The Toyta Hilux is known for its durability, high resale value, and proven off-road capability. It offers a comfortable ride. Its cabin is refined and typically offers more advanced driver-assist features. The 2025 Mitsubishi Triton is slightly less powerful. But it stands out with competitive pricing, a sharper turning radius, and generous standard equipment. The Triron is also equipped with a Super Select 4WD system for diverse terrain handling. The Toyota Hilux appeals to those who want to prioritize toughness while the 2025 Mitsubishi Triton offers great value and all-terrain capability.

Conclusion and Final Verdict

The 2025 The Mitsubishi Triton impresses with capable off-road performance and practical features. It’s known for a robust build quality that makes the pickup truck a reliable companion for both work and adventure. The Triton doesn’t have the plushest cabin or the most advanced tech in its class in its segment, but its towing capacity, durability, and value-for-money appeal stand out.
