Mitsubishi for the first time started production of Mirage in 1978 and since then it has continued to be a product, which has the company's faith. This compact car turned heads from the moment it was first introduced and instantly it has refined the standards for the competitors. Currently, Mitsubishi Mirage hatchback it running in its sixth generation, which has now acquired more efficient and practical upgrades. The tenets which depict the concept of this compact car include efficiency. practicality, and value for money. The company has also begun the production of Mirage in the country for meeting the export as well as internal demands of the Mirage hatchback.
Starting off, Mirage now has a three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel that is accompanied by an informative binnacle. Moving on to the center console, now you get a new 300 watt Rockford Fosgate audio system with features like Link Display Audio, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Other additional features include leather covered cozy seats, shift panel, ample storage space and manual air-con system.
Considering the price range in which Mirage is placed, the materials of the cabin cannot be of high-quality but, they are decent enough to not give a downmarket feel. The upholstery is also simple and front seats are comfortable to an extent. The cushions are short and the rear seat will fit three comfortably if the occupants are of athletic built or skinny. Considering the boot volume, the 60/40 split folding rear seat back give enough room to carry a significant amount of luggage.
At first glance, you may not be able to see the changes made by Mitsubishi, but, giving a closer look reveals many transformations. New Mirage gets a sporty and sleek exterior design that is accompanied by sharp LED headlamps, chrome-surround honeycomb grille, fog lamps with new LED strip, body colored door handles, restyled 14-inch alloy wheels, and chrome inserts on the rear side. New Mirage is bestowed with sharp contour line all over, making it more aerodynamic, and further increasing its performance.
To beef up the car design a bit more, even the bumpers are widened to a significant extent. Mitsubishi Mirage is neither the smallest in the segment nor it is the biggest, but, it holds significant dimensions, which is enough to have a comfortable cabin.
All-new Mitsubishi Mirage houses the same old mill that powered its earlier sibling. So, on opening the bonnet you’ll get to see the known 1.2L MIVEC three-cylinder gasoline mill that has not been tweaked even a bit, generating the same power and torque output of 78 PS and 100 Nm respectively. So, you can expect the same fuel economy of 21 km/l along with less CO2 emission and top notch performance. The said engine comes paired with either a 5-speed manual or INVECS-III CVT transmission. The stated figures are enough to push the car on hilly inclines with four people in the cabin with a bit of luggage in the boot.
Being a small 3-cylinder engine, expecting a neck-breaking performance won’t be justified but, even when paired with CVT, the engine feels lively and delivers smooth performance when pushing it on highways.
The Mitsubishi Mirage hatchback features disc brakes at the front while the rear has a set of drum brakes which ensure proper braking. The inclusion of ABS further makes braking efficient.
I recently purchased the new and updated Mitsubishi Mirage. I have been driving for some time now and I think the car is a really good package of all the good things you need. It is one of the best in the segment and at its price point. Along with elegant appeal and a decent styling that is not overbearing,
I recently bought the new Mitsubishi Mirage G4. To be very honest, I have nothing but good things to say about this vehicle. I think it is an absolute winner in the commuter range in the Philippines at this price point. The car is built to offer superior driveability and practicality and is a perfect vehicle for city driving. The
What I loved about the Mitsubishi Mirage when I first saw it was the simplicity of its design which made it look very elegant and sophisticated. It also had the right blend of boldness and sportiness without being too overwhelming. The new advanced dynamic shield design in the front grille enhances the stylish appearance of the car. Along with that,

I was planning on transitioning to a newer brand in the market from my long-driven Toyota and Honda miracles. Mirage is the first-ever creation of Mitsubishi that has successfully attracted me towards it for all the new cosmetic and internal upgrades it is currently conceiving. The carmaker has taken a keen interest in mending the interior comfort of the cabin
I am not leaving a single moment to enjoy my drives with this highly affordable and authentic model of Mitsubishi. The price range fitted absolutely for my planned budget and the features that I got were really unexpected to me. The car is highly fuel-efficient providing me with 18 kmpl mileage. It offers a manually transmissible power engine with a
My past experience with Mitsubishi hasn’t been that great. Hence I was hesitant to go for Mitsubishi again, that to Mirage. But after using it for a couple of months now, I feel it was a safe game to invest in Mirage. Its engine displacement is small in number but is really powerful. About its interior spacing, the car is
The Mirage is a very useful hatchback to own for a daily commuter. I use it for travelling to the office on an almost everyday basis as it is very comfortable to drive in traffic and delivers a decent mileage as well. The compact size of this car makes it very easy for me to manoeuvre it through traffic conditions.
Now if I am asked what I appreciate the most in my car then I will surely say that it is its small engine that is highly efficient. No, I never had those fancy expectations from my car as I have always prioritized the engine quality the most. I wanted an ideal car that will ensure a decent driving experience
