The smoothest touring bike
I have been riding tour bikes for many years now but most of them were from the Harley-Davidson stable. I recently rode the Honda Gold Wing and was impressed by its performance. For one, the Gold Wing has the smartest instrument cluster around, with a full map display system. The ride quality was balanced. Yes, it’s a pretty heavy bike and needs some practice to get accustomed. It’s not much of a city performer in start and stop traffic. The engine is the smoothest in class. The throttle response was steady. The saddle bags have 30 liters of space.
