In terms of dimensions, the Kawasaki KLX230R S measures 2,035 mm in length, 845 mm in width, 1,185 mm in overall height, and 875 mm in seat height. This off-road motorcycle also has a wheelbase of 1,355 mm and a ground clearance of 270 mm.

The KLX230R S’ design exudes a balance of style and conventional ruggedness. At the front, it features a trapezoidal body-coloured cowl and a sharp beak. Underneath, its long-travel suspension is equipped with fork boots for added safety at all times. 

On the sides, a pair of large diameter aluminum wheels (21-inch at the front, 18-inch at the rear), which offer great grip and stability on the trails, complement its sporty and youthful compact, high-tensile steel perimeter frame. In addition, its KLX decals blend well with its bright Lime Green livery. Meanwhile, its rugged, sporty personality carries over to the rear, highlighted by its sharp tail and silver exhaust pipe with a black tip.

Aside from that, the rider gets a newly-designed urethane seat with a 6-mm thicker padding for better comfort while navigating through trails. This off-road motorcycle also comes with mid-rise handlebars and footpegs positioned 9 mm further to the rear, both of which give the rider better control and improved overall handling while on the go.

That said, the KLX230R S’ engine remains capable even when you are tackling steep inclines off-road. In addition, its engine also offers more low- to mid-range torque for better control at low speeds.
