Kawasaki Pulsar N250

For starters, the Kawasaki Pulsar N250 measures 1,989 mm in length, 743 mm in width, 1,050 mm in overall height, and 795 mm in seat height. This naked bike also comes with a 1,351-mm wheelbase and a 165-mm ground clearance.

The Pulsar N250 features a subtle yet sporty design that gives it a big-bike feel on the road. Its robotic-looking fascia is illuminated by a bi-functional LED projector headlamp with LED DRLs, giving it a powerful flare wherever it goes. It also comes with conventional LED signal lights for better visibility.

Meanwhile, its sporty silhouette is defined by a stylish contrast of colours. Its engine guard is coated in a bronze-like shade while its dual exhaust features a satin gray finish with a blacked-out tip. This naked bike runs on a pair of 17-inch wheels. Aside from that, its sharp and sporty character carries over to the rear, highlighted by its distinct-looking LED boomerang tail lamps.

The Pulsar N250 is equipped with an “Infinity” instrument panel that comes with a DTE (Distance To Empty) display and a gear indicator. This naked bike also offers a USB charging port for your phone. Its dual-stepped seat is well-bolstered and offers great cushioning and ergonomics for you and your pillion both on short and long rides. In terms of suspension, the Kawasaki Pulsar N250 is equipped with 37-mm USD Forks at the front and a Nitrox Monoshock at the rear. This naked bike offers great absorption of bumps and other minor road imperfections, resulting in a supple riding experience for you and your pillion in the city. It is also nimble to maneuver even through tight traffic and narrow urban streets. 

With this in mind, its suspension setup is tuned more for comfort than sportiness. It can still handle turns or corners quite well at moderate speeds. But, it would be best to take extra precaution if you are planning to ride this spiritedly on challenging twisty roads in provincial areas.  

The Kawasaki Pulsar N250 is powered by a 250cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, SOHC, fuel-injected engine that produces 24.16 hp of maximum power and 21.5 Nm of maximum torque. This naked bike comes mated to a 5-speed constant mesh (manual) transmission.

This naked bike feels punchy at high speeds, yet remains smooth and refined in stop-and-go traffic. You’ll also be able to perform seamless upshifts and downshifts on this bike, thanks to its assist and slipper clutch feature. On top of this, it delivers  impressive fuel economy even in mixed city riding conditions. That said, the Pulsar N250 is a cost-effective ride for your daily commute within the Metro.

The Kawasaki Pulsar N250 comes with front and rear disc brakes (front: 300 mm, rear: 230 mm). Its braking setup is supported by a dual-channel anti-lock braking system. In terms of safety, this bike is also equipped with a pass switch, side reflectors, and an engine check warning. 

In my opinion, the Kawasaki Pulsar N250 is a great choice for novice riders planning to buy their first naked bike. It is both rider- and city-friendly, a comfortable commuter, and a capable high-speed cruiser. That said, it is definitely a value-packed bike.
