Doing the transmission duties is a 6-speed manual unit that is smooth, without the clunky feel on the shifts. A huge 20-litre fuel tank capacity means that the riding range is long enough with no regular refuelling needed.

Kawasaki offers dual disc brakes for the front wheel of the Vulcan 1700 Vaquero, while the rear wheel has a single disc. However, just like you would expect things to be, the braking isn’t biting but more of progressive.

Apart from this, the company offers the second generation of the K-ACT (Kawasaki Advanced Coactive-braking Technology) anti-lock braking system. This means the riders have a very balanced and controlled braking system. It also makes for a wonderful braking distribution to the wheels for efficient performance.

The Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Vaquero is a premium quality heavyweight cruiser that takes on the likes of Harley-Davidson Street Glide and Road Glide. However, PHP 860,000, it is priced at less than half the rate of the Harleys.

Hence, without compromising on the power and features, the Vulcan 1700 Vaquero is an excellent option to choose, but at a very affordable price tag.
