The KTM 85 SX 17/14 is a really cool and capable package for any novice motocross competitor. In fact, the bike is perfect for kids between the ages of 11 to 15-year olds as well. I am new to motocross so I chose to buy this bike, and to be very honest I am really impressed by its overall performance. The 85 cc single-cylinder engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and delivers race-spec performance that is punchy and impressive. KTM offers a hydroformed chromium-molybdenum steel tube frame which makes the bike very lightweight with a dry weight of just 67 kg.
