NWOW Linshia Review 2025

The Nwow Linshia is one of the most affordable high-speed electric scooters from the portfolio of Chinese electric two-wheeler manufacturer Nwow. After gaining decent popularity in its home market of China, the Nwow Linshia is now available in the Philippines as a low-cost solution for those electric two-wheeler buyers who are out looking for an affordable mode of transport on two wheels. The Nwow Linshia is being offered in the Philippines in four colour options - blue, black, red, and purple.

NWOW Linshia Design

The Nwow Linshia doesn’t create any new benchmark in terms of design and overall looks. This low-cost electric scooter looks decent, with its sleek appearance making it worth paying attention to it. However, the panels and bits on this scooter feel cheap and low-cost and scream that they are not built to last.

The front profile of the Nwow Linshia is dominated by a long, sleek, and slanted front apron, in the upper half of which there is a large triangular halogen headlamp. The sides of this slanted front apron are decorated with slim body decals to add some appeal to the otherwise simple-looking front profile. The handlebar cowl of Nwow Linshia also looks fairly large and comes integrated with clear lens turn indicators on either side. The silver-finished levers on the handlebar are nice touches, though.

The slim side edges of the front apron of Nwow Linshia flow towards the compact floorboard, which is wide enough to accommodate the legs and knees of a tall rider as well. While moving towards the rear, the Nwow Linshia gets a bulky appearance, with large-sized side body panels and a wide and long single seat. These panels and seat are too large for an entry-level scooter, and what further accentuates its size, even more, is the huge top box for storing your luggage, which is placed behind the seat. This top box has a small cushioned backrest on the side which is just behind the seat, which provides added comfort to the pillion rider.

The back portion of the Nwow Linshia gets a wide-looking tail lamp cluster, which looks pretty basic with amber turn indicators and a halogen tail lamp. The instrument console of the Nwow Linshia also looks very basic with only the essential bits like speedometer, odometer, and range gauge present within it. While the Nwow Linshia looks decent for a scooter of its size and price, what tarnishes its desirability is the below-average fit and finish levels, which leave a lot to be desired.

Linshia Ride & Handling

Apart from the motor and battery combination, the rest of the mechanical hardware of the Nwow Linshia also feels fairly basic. The electric scooter gets telescopic hydraulic forks at the front and a single-sided hydraulic coil spring at the back. For braking, the Nwow Linshia is equipped with basic drum brakes at both ends. While the slim tyres call for an impression of a dynamically agile scooter, the high kerb weight of 150 kg is a letdown. Though this scooter feels fairly easy to ride and manoeuvre.

NWOW Linshia Engine & Fuel Consumption

The Nwow Linshia is bestowed with a basic powertrain consisting of a low-cost motor and battery setup. This scooter gets a 48V/20Ah battery, which offers a decent range of 50-60 km on a single charge. Nwow hasn’t disclosed the rating of the electric motor of the Linshia, though this motor powers the rear wheel through a belt drive and enables this scooter to attain a top speed of 55 kmph. These figures are decent for an entry-level scooter meant for short-distance commutes.

Linshia Braking & Safety

The positioning of Nwow Linshia as a cheap and pocket-friendly scooter comes at a compromise of lack of basic safety features like ABS and a lockable keyhole, which are not available in it even as an option.

NWOW Linshia Verdict

For its price, the Nwow Linshia comes across as a practical electric scooter, which is not only cheap to buy and run but is also easy to live with, thanks to the ample amount of storage space and easy handling it claims.
