The 2024 Royal Enfield Scram 411 is an adventure street bike that comes with a bit of off-road capability.  It's a return-to-the-roots sort of motorcycle that most riders prefer. It's more on the practical side but at the same time, is technically sophisticated with fuel injection, antilock braking, and a small LCD instrument panel in the big, round, digitally-driven speedometer with a second 'Tripper' pod. This is for connecting to the sat-nav system that's managed by the Royal Enfield app. But the bike needs to catch up on adjustable levers, ride modes, and other premium bits. The powertrain's performance won't get the rider's adrenaline racing.  But it's enough to keep the bike with the flow of traffic on city streets. The motor has an undersquared arrangement, which leads to a wide spread of torque instead of high-revving power. The engine is in no hurry to get things going and is rather pale at the low end. The torque ups in the midrange, and overtaking becomes easy. Revving the engine doesn't help as there's a lot of vibration, and the powertrain consumes more fuel without producing the desired power. On highways, the 2024 Royal Enfield Scram 411 comes across a very able cruiser. But it's still a commuter-friendly bike and more suited for urban roads than off-road trails.

The 2024 Royal Enfield Scram 411 comes with disc brakes on both wheels. Initial brake bite is strong but there's a bit of progression. The tires have good road grip. The antilock system in nicely tuned. The bike retains stability even when speedily turning corners.
