Scrambler 1200 Overview

The Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE is a two-wheeled machine that can be used in a variety of situations. This naked bike exudes appeal thanks to its current classic appearance and high finish, in addition to its on-road and off-road capability. This elegant motorcycle is available in two dual-tone paints namely Fusion white and Brooklands green. There are other variants too. This beast is priced at about P1195000.

The Triumph triangle insignia on the tank, hand guards with aluminum bracing, and silver-finished handlebar with black anodized risers and clamp are all top-of-the-line elements on the Scrambler 1200 XE. The Scrambler 1200 XE is equipped with features such as Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Cornering ABS, and Traction Control with Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) that contribute to its road-focused capability. Rain, Sport, Off-road, Rider-Configurable, and Off-road Pro are among the six riding modes available for various riding circumstances. All these features combine to make it one of the desirable rides of the Philippines.

Triumph Scrambler 1200 Design

The Triumph Scrambler 1200 was built as a two-finger salute aimed right at its supposed rivals, particularly the one from Italy. That’s because this bike packs some serious features that steal the show, although you definitely won’t mistake it for anything but a scrambler. The bodywork is minimal and it packs the trademark Bonnie-shaped fuel tank that sits ahead of a flat seat and behind a small round LED headlamp.

There's also plenty of brushed aluminum trim throughout, a gorgeous aluminum swingarm, and a pair of side-laced spoked rims that support tubeless tires, all of which are expected from the Triumph. The rider is reminded that this is no poser with the huge 21-inch front wheel and lengthy travel suspension (dual shocks at the rear maintain the throwback mood). The design's crowning beauty is that oh-so-pretty high-slung exhaust, which looks fantastic but isn't without problems. Overall, it's attractive in a tough and practical manner.

Scrambler 1200 Ride & Handling

The Triumph Scrambler 1200 boasts an exhilarating ride quality. The 840mm seat height and 205kg dry weight are equal to the Tiger 800, which is a shame given what a scrambler should be, but this bike is so much easier to manage than its ADV sibling. First, it has a narrower waist, making it simpler to get your feet down, but more crucially, it lacks the top-heavy weight bias, requiring considerably less manhandling off the road. And when the tarmac disappears, this bike really shines.

There's 200mm of suspension travel on both ends, and it's fully adjustable. At the front, a 45mm Showa USD fork and a pair of Ohlins shocks are used. This motorcycle has the capability to dominate any kind of road.  The basic Metzeler Tourances performed admirably throughout, with the exception of the slush, although that section was so treacherous that only a complete MX-style tire would have provided any sort of grip.

Triumph Scrambler 1200 Engine & Fuel Consumption

A dependable 1,200cc liquid-cooled, SOHC, 270-degree crank angle parallel-twin engine with up to 89 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque powers this naked bike. A 6-speed manual transmission is then linked to this powerplant. The engine has been altered significantly to improve low-to-midrange performance, which is ideal for off-roading.

The throttle and braking responses are more akin to those of a dirt bike. One can feel pretty comfy handling this big and heavy motorcycle even on uneven and loose surfaces because the setting was so accurate. The torque's assist plays an instrumental role in many crucial conditions. One can easily deal with a minor incline when driving this luxurious masterpiece. The engine is definitely one of the major highlights of this vehicle.

Scrambler 1200 Braking & Safety

The Triumph Scrambler 1200 boasts dual channeled ABS, dual-disc brakes that perform incredibly well under any given condition. They provide enough control to the rider.

This incredible car adorns a variety of safety features including ABS, pass switch, side reflectors, and much more.

Triumph Scrambler 1200 Verdict

The Triumph Scrambler 1200 would be the perfect choice for all those individuals who want to purchase such a ride that is equipped with all the premium features that can take on any kind of road. Many ardent riders have purchased this motorcycle because of its reliable engine, exhilarating ride experience, exquisite braking system, and other such interesting features.

Timothy Apr 07, 2022 for Triumph Scrambler 1200

This one isn’t just another retro-styled scrambler. The Triumph Scrambler 1200 takes the cake among all scrambler bikes. The exhaust pipes are mounted high up, parallel to the seat. That’s a very unique piece of design. The bike happily cruises, scratches and gets mud in its turn-ups. But with the beefier, longer travel suspension, stretched wheelbase, wider bars and more Read More

With minimal bodywork, the Bonnie-shaped fuel tank, and the small headlamp are all trademark designs of the Scrambler 1200. The seat is flat which makes riding for long hours comfortable. The high-mounted exhaust looks fabulous on the bike. Overall the bike is good-looking and rugged but not astutely handsome. Riding it of course is a delight. Handling is easy because Read More
