2019 Volkswagen Touareg launched in China

MANILA: Volkswagen finally revealed its compact SUV, the Touareg. Recently showcased in China, the all-new Touareg will be available for sale from 2019. The car looks modern, sleek, and stylish than the ongoing model. The curved body gives the car a sophisticated urban SUV aura. The Touareg looks amazing from outside as well as inside. This car has lovely plush interiors, which will keep the driver and passengers well cocooned from the road and traffic noise.
Volkswagen has followed the front fascia design philosophy with this car, and the front grill looks similar to that of the Arteon, the flagship sedan of Volkswagen. The Touareg comes with the modern matrix LED headlight technology that is loaded with 128 smart LEDs. The matrix LED can automatically adjust the brightness depending on the traffic and natural light availability.

Exterior Features Of The Next-Gen Touareg

The next-gen Touareg looks very modern from the outside and has lots of curves on its body that makes the car look non-aggressive. There is no doubt that this SUV was designed to attract laidback urban people over off-roading lovers. Volkswagen has used LED lights in the headlights, indicator lights, fog lamps at front and in the tail light section as well. In the top-end variant, consumers will get a panoramic sunroof. The basic model of this car will be offered with 18-inch alloy wheels, and the top end variant is fitted with 21-inch alloy wheels.

Body and Chassis Of The Touareg

Volkswagen has used the MLB-EVO platform for this car to make it rigid and light. The manufacturer has increased its length by 77mm and width by 44mm. The car is now taller by 7mm and has also lost 106 kilograms thanks to the new chassis.

Interiors And Safety Of the Touareg

The interior of this car looks upmarket, stylish, and far better than its rivals’. This car comes loaded with 4 zone climate control, 15-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and 12-inch virtual cockpit. The top end variant of Touareg comes with lane assist, front traffic assist, active all-wheel steering, and head-up display. It also features a 14-speaker Dyna audio speakers.
