MANILA: The 2026 and fifth season of the Seaoil Radical Challenge Philippines will commence its first round in June. This time around, the said racing series now has a long-term partnership with the fuels and lubricants company Seaoil.

Seaoil-Radical strengthened partnership
As mentioned above, Seaoil and Radical Motorsports Philippines have taken their relationship to the next level. The two entities, beginning in 2026, have entered a long-term partnership - a move that is seen to heavily benefit local motorsport and local racers.
Additionally, it highlights the capabilities of the Seaoil Extreme 97 fuel, which is utilized by both the Radical SR3 and SR1 race cars that are competing in the Seaoil Radical Challenge Philippines.

By working hand-in-hand, Radical and Seaoil fosters the skills of Filipino racers via “high level racing,” since the aforementioned series is considered as one of the fastest motorsports competitions in the local setting.

Radical SR3 and SR1: specs
For those curious, the Seaoil Radical Challenge Philippines is run in two different classes, each with two different Radical race cars.
The entry-level class is the SR1 Challenge Cup, with vehicles using a 185-horsepower (hp) 1.3-liter inline-four engine. Compared to the lower-spec race, the SR3 Challenge Cup uses a more powerful 232-hp inline-four engine with a slightly larger 1.5-liter displacement.

The two Radical race cars use a sequential gearbox, a rear-wheel-drive layout, roll bars, and a lineup of FIA-certified safety gear.
