Evro app introduces ‘Station Finder’ feature
App users now has visibility to all DOE-registered charging stations
MANILA: ACMobility-owned Evro has introduced a new feature on its smartphone app allowing electric vehicle (EV) users to better locate charging stations.

Per Evro, customers can filter their map searches to suit their preferences.The aptly-named “Station Finder” feature can identify all Department of Energy-registered charging facilities, which at the time of writing is roughly around 240.

Station Finder benefits
According to Evro, customers who will use the new Station Finder feature of its smartphone app will enjoy several benefits including new color-coded map pins that will help them identify the availability of a charging station.
Per the e-mobility solutions provider, a green pin means that the charging station is available, while a red pin means that it is being used.
Meanwhile, a gray pin means that the charging station is either unavailable or incompatible with the registered vehicle.
The Station Finder feature is able to detect charging stations from different providers, including both partner and non-partner stations, all of which — Evro pointed out — are regularly updated on the smartphone app.
Users may also filter what is displayed on their maps and select from various options like “Available,” which will prompt the app to show charging points that are currently online and ready to
