Geely Motor PH establishes new parts center to boost aftersales support

MANILA: In its bid to boost its aftersales support in the country, Geely Motor Philippines has put up its new parts center.

Located in Cabuyao, Laguna, the now-operational Parts Center is a 4,700-square-meter facility that will ensure the efficient and timely delivery of spare parts for Geely vehicles around the country.

The said initiative was made after Geely Automotive International Corporation took over the brand’s local distributorship from Sojitz G Auto Philippines.

Per the brand’s local arm, the aforementioned establishment is in line with its commitment to bolster its support to its customer base.

“This new parts center is one of our steps to fulfill our dedication to provide the best possible ownership experience for our loyal customers. By optimizing our parts logistics and inventory management, we aim to minimize downtime for our customers and ensure they have access to the genuine parts,” Geely Motor Philippines President Will Wan was quoted as saying.

Operational from Mondays-Saturdays, the new parts center will facilitate inbound operations from both local and foreign suppliers. Its outbound deliveries nationwide will leverage on air express for urgent orders and land/sea travel for normal and stocking orders.

In a statement, the company said that the facility’s current inventory includes a comprehensive range of parts that include maintenance, warranty, body, repair and paint, lubricants and chemicals, accessories, merchandise, special service tools and consumables — ensuring availability for orders and stocking requirements.

To reduce possible delays, incoming shipments for the current and next month are strategically planned to maintain a healthy stock level.
