MANILA: Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) has launched its premier compact electric vehicle concept under the Ioniq sub-brand at the IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich, Germany.

The Hyundai Concept Three is the first-ever compact electric vehicle under the Ioniq sub-brand.The debut of the vehicle — named Concept Three — represents the automaker’s “commitment to offering exceptional electric vehicles (EV) in a rapidly evolving global market, where the focus shifts from technological advancement to experiences of emotional fulfillment.”

It features a chiseled body that features an Aero Hatch profile, thanks to its distinct roofline combined with a vertical tailgate.
Aside from that, the Hyundai Concept Three sports a Parametric Pixel illumination system on both front and rear that are made more expressive — forming a gradient that adds depth and visual rhythm to the overall design.
Capping the vehicle’s modern design are its anodized-effect finish, lemon-tinted glass, and matching wheels.
Inside, the Hyundai Concept Three greets occupants with a cabin covered in Moonbeam Yellow. It also boasts modular “Bring Your Own Lifestyle (BYOL)” widgets that provide tailored experiences to let customers personalize their journey.
A character called Mr. Pix has been integrated throughout the car, offering “playful storytelling through ‘hidden surprises’ and interactive design elements.”
Sustainable materials like ocean waste textiles and lightweight aluminum foam have also been integrated into the Hyundai Concept Three’s interior to highlight the marque’s vision to reduce environmental impact while delivering premium design.
