Mercedes-Benz PH sold over 200 EQ units since 2023
EQ lineup is part of brand’s “Ambition 2039” global strategy
MANILA: Mercedes-Benz Philippines, under the management of Inchcape Philippines, has already sold more than 200 units of the EQ model lineup since its first local model launch two years ago.
The aforementioned data was shared with Zigwheels Philippines via an interview with Mercedes-Benz Philippines General Manager Maricar Parco during the launch of the all-new GLC 350e Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) and E-Class 350e PHEV.
“For the electric vehicles, the EQ series, which we introduced two years ago, we have sold over 200 units. This is also part of Mercedes-Benz’s strategy called Ambition 2039, and this is continually boosting our electrified products with the PHEV portfolio,” Parco said.
For a luxury brand, the said sales performance of its new-energy EQ series is considerably strong. Parco further corroborated this as the local luxury market segment as a whole only boils down to less than 2 percent of the overall Philippine automotive industry by volume.

“Mercedes-Benz Philippines is looking forward to a record-breaking performance in the luxury segment in 2025,” Parco added.
