The Philippines-spec Mercedes-Benz EQE misses out on the hyper-screen layout of the global model, but it is still a high-tech interior with large and intuitive screens for various functions. Wrapped in ARTICO man-made leather with micro-cut fibre upholstery, the cabin of the EQE also has an anthracite line structure, lime wood trim, and black fabric roof lining.

The AMG Line trim for the Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ on sale in the Philippines comes standard with an AMG sports steering wheel, AMG door sills with AMG illuminated lettering, AMG pedals, and AMG velour floor mats. The cabin of the EQE feels thoroughly modern by the presence of a 12.3-inch rectangular full-TFT instrument console behind the steering wheel and a slanted 12.8-inch portrait-styled MBUX touchscreen infotainment system in the middle. The cabin’s attractiveness only rises by the turbine-style AC vents with satin silver surround and tri-arrow pattern across the dashboard.

The Mercedes-Benz EQE also has a host of other comfort and convenience features, such as an air quality package, fingerprint scanner, pre-entry multi-zone automatic climate control, 64-coloured ambient lighting, EQ navigation services, Mercedes-Benz sound system, wireless smartphone integration, and more.

One of the sleekest-looking sedans you can buy in the world, the Mercedes-Benz EQE features a highly aerodynamic and futuristic design, which makes it look more like a four-door coupe than a traditional sedan.

The Mercedes-Benz EQE gets a gloss-black finished hexagonal blank grille at the front, which has curved lower edges and curvy all-LED headlamps with whisker-shaped daytime running LEDs to its sides. The AMG Line trim front bumper also gets gloss black highlights around the wide central air dam.

The highly aerodynamic side profile of the Mercedes-Benz EQE sedan has a curved roofline, well-contoured and smoothly-designed door panels, smooth-looking haunches above the rounded wheel arches and 19-inch 5-spoke AMG alloy wheels. The Dynamic Select package offered in the Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ AMG Line as standard includes four different drive programs – Eco, Comfort, Sport, and Individual – for a customized driving experience depending on the driver’s preferences. The EQE also has five recuperation levels – D Auto (ECO Assist, standard setting), D + (coasting), D (low recuperation), D- (medium recuperation), D -- (high recuperation) – for effective battery performance while driving.

The Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ AMG Line is powered by a front-mounted single-motor setup, which churns out 295 PS of maximum power and 565 Nm of maximum torque. With this electric motor, the EQE can do 0-100 kmph in 6.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 208 kmph. The Mercedes-Benz EQE also has a 90 kWh battery pack that claims a maximum driving range of 630 km, while it takes 4 hours and 30 minutes for a 0-80 percent charge using a 22 kW charger.

Besides essentials like eight airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, ESP, front and rear parking sensors, and 360-degree parking camera, the Mercedes-Benz EQE is rich in driving assistance aids like active traffic sign assist, easy-pack tailgate, Mercedes-Benz emergency call system, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, active lane keeping assist and more.
