Metrobank introduces early X-mas treat for car loan applicants

MANILA: Even as Christmas day is still several months away, Metrobank has launched the “Holideals Promo,” which provides preferential interest rates, waived loan fees, and other offers to prospective car loan applicants. 

Specifically, the bank is waiving up to P100,000 on fees. The said offer covers chattel mortgage, registration fees, documentary stamp fees, and notarial fees.

In addition, the promo features a low car loan interest rate of just 8.7 percent (per annum). As a bonus gift, clients will be pre-qualified for the Metrobank-Toyota Mastercard once their loans gain approval from the bank. 

The aforementioned version of Mastercard is ideal for car owners, as its holders are entitled to 3 percent rebates from Petron fuel stations nationwide. The card’s holders are also entitled to 10 percent discounts on parts, accessories, and labor fees at Toyota dealerships. Using the card will likewise accumulate reward points, which can be redeemed for electronic gift certificates. 

The loan promo is open to applicants at all Metrobank branches nationwide until October 1, 2024. Car loan applications can also be made through the bank’s official website. 

As a side note, the Metrobank Holideals promo also offers a similar set of benefits for folks looking for housing loans.
